I just finished voting the lens cap challenge and I counted at least seven images where there is no lens cap anywhere in the photo (that I can find). This isn't counting those images that include un-conventional ideas of what a lens cap is, which I scored normally if I thought it was clever.
How do you vote on photos that do not appear to be even a half-hearted attempt at meeting the challenge? I hate to be "DNMC guy", but I also don't think it's fair for photos that don't belong in the challenge to potentially score higher than someone who is at least making an effort.
I gave all the "no lens cap" photos a "3". Should they be lower?

Earl--
See the LensCap Score thread--
There is a discussion that some people may have interpreted lenscap as landscape.
Edit-- for Link
Lenscap Scores.

I give all DNMTC photos a 1.
If you at least got close, or I can see a connection, or I think there might be something I don't get but you do, I'll still give you the benifit of the doubt though. |
