I'm absolutely giddy, my new baby Canon 30D has arrived!
And as the battery charges, I'm realizing just how un-photogenic this apartment is. Gotta try to get some shots outside the apartment tonight.

By battery just finished charging and so I'm clicking away at random junk around here right now. Nothing worth showing. But maybe later...
It's funny - I'm kind of missing hearing the sound of the film advance after I take a shot. I mean, I know, my Olympus didn't make that sound, either, but I guess because this is the first time I'm shooting with a DSLR, I keep on expecting it. I guess I'll just have to shoot lots and lots till I get used it it. :)
Rikki - congrats! That looks like one sweet lens. I wish I had gotten that one instead of the 100mm f/2.0. Would have been nice to have the macro feature.

| Congrats, Eric! I don't know why it's not on the list, but can't wait to see some pics taken with it. A lot of people have had high hopes for it. |
