This thought just hit me for a low diffused light setup:
White Christmas tree lights, shoved into a Ziploc freezer bag, and then slipped into a wax paper sleeve assembled with the help of a stapler.

Nah, in general, tree lights don't get hot enough. Though another method would be glass jars.

Wrap a powerful flashlight in wax paper. Portable and friendly :-)

Hehe, I actually lifted the wax paper bit of that idea from one of your posts. Unfortunately I don't have a powerful flashlight and can't afford to go buy one.. trying to work with what I've already got ;-)

It is made by Sunforce and I got it at Canadian Tire on sale for 15 bucks
