I hope I am getting these bad shots out of my system. I had my highest scoring photo, followed but my lowest and my current 3 entries are all below 5:(

Did the speed Challenge count towards this? I hope not because I'm getting hammered for what I thought was a really good image for straight out of the camera. My flower entry isnt doing any better. :-(

No the speed did NOT count. It was announced before the beginning of the WPL2 season.

I got 10 and perspective in. I'm only about 5.3 for 10 right now but my perspective is the best thing I have ever done IMO.

Im in for 10 and perspective III. I thought for sure I was going to blow away the competition in 10 but its a flop. sorry guys. but i really dont like my perspective shot much at all so maybe since were in opposite world it will be in the 6's. lol ;)

I really tried to be creative with my Ten entry....sadly it's only at a 4.8519 at this time. I promise to try and do better in the next one.

we can use the 50 PLUS something right? we have extention rings that'll make it macro using the 50. that may be the best way to go.

good news team - my score has finally creeped out of the 4's and is now sitting at a 5.1014. Still not the greatest, but at least that shows there's still hope for me.

Oh and 50mm + extension tubes = neat Abstract food macros

Honestly...I'm not sure I can go 10 weeks (9 with the bye, I guess), but I'm going to try.

My wife and I have been worried alot latley about using just the one lens. it has stopped us from doing shots we wanted. I say if we start losing real bad maybe we should rethink the whole thing.

Well, it is a serious disadvantage. It's like kickboxing with an opponent, but you're only allowed to use your left foot.

we are imposing it on ourselves beacuse it pushes us to think in ways we woudln't have otherwise thought if we could use the lens of our choice, or a lazy zoom.

I don't think we need to shun the people that use something other than 50mm, but it is a bit goal to use the lens.

i'm going on vacation next 2 weeks so expect some cool, sharp photos from adriatic coast ... well they wont be some seascapes miracles but maybe some other kind of miracles ... or abstracts ... or food ... or red wine ... or .... oh, i can hardly wait to leave office , is this a monologue ? :-)

I have a business trip this week. I will be leaving the 50 1.8 at home with the wife and taking the 70-200. If i get something good while i am gone i will use that. just an FYI.

congrats to 3eyedcrow on a top 10 finish in "10"! we are barely behind right now. I have a 6.000 right now in perspective so hopefully we can pull out a victory.
