Just in case anyone didn't buy it before who wanted one, it can now be had for $29.99 after rebate.

I've never had any problems with them before. I actually had a great experience with them when I bought my powerbook a couple of years ago (awesome CSR) so now I check them first when I'm looking for computers or computer stuff.

So the question becomes, is the Intuos3 worth the extra $190? Perhaps for painting, but what about photo touchups?

This was the last thread about this table. There was a lot of discussion about it vs the Intuos.

Basically it seems like people thought it was worth it for photo even for the sole reason of getting used to using one before being able to afford the Intuos. Although for this price, I think it's no question.
