Hi
I recently made a home made Chroma Screen. It was in green color. I dyed a white cloth.
It works, i mean to remove bg and replace with a a new digital BG is much easier.
So please try, it is very inexpensive |

Just a side note:
I found that latex paint works better than fabric dyes when making your own backgrounds. It's a bit more messy, but lasts longer and is less prone to fade.
Just dilute the paint with about 50% water and soak your material in it. Take it out and hang it to dry.

You are right but my point is that for a very reasonable amount one can have a Chroma Screen . Colors green or blue are such that it is easy to delete the background very easily.
I dont have a great setup but deleting BG was very easy
