I rarely do portraits on my own, but I was recently asked to do a few. A poet friend needed something "artsy" for a press kit, and he came to me! I would love to hear what anyone thinks. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I would be glad to return the favor by commenting on a photo of yours. If you have a photo that you would like me to comment on, please post it in this thread or I'll just pick one from your portfolio. I promise to comment on the first five. I'll try to do more, but I don't want to promise more than I can deliver.

Hi
You got some nice Portraits. Personally i like the portrait with CK_007_small.jpg .Composition is great. Try converting into BW using redor yellow filter, you will get a great contrast

Yup just about to mention that this shoot screams of black and white. Keep the big walls in the crop and let the overcoat almost be entirely black...and you will get a nice push/pull between the light and dark.

Also the Poses, Cigar and Attire just say these need some character (B/W).

Thanks all. I actually did create B/W versions of all of these. I'm working on returning comments right now, but I'll post a few in a little bit.
