imho it should have been play on - goal and he goes off! that said I'm still routing for the GOOONAAAARS ;)

Im an avid Arsenal fan, but I would havce to agree, Barca should have had the goal.
However you can't have both a goal and the sending off.
Howevere thats in the past. Arsenal are down to ten men but still managed to score so come on the Gooonaaars |

Well, I bow to your thoughts (same as the so called tv experts) however, I've seen refs play the advantage and then come back to book a player for an earlier foul.
Ian, am sure you will be celebrating tonight ;) I've not spoken to my mother since Saturday (I was brought up on Merseyside and she is West End girl).

I hope we are celebrating tonight.
A red card in this situation is given for being the last player and preventing a goal scoring opportunity.
Had the goal stood I dont think he could then have been red carded for stopping a goal, but he certanly should have been yellow carded,
However 56 mins and still the Arsenal are one up
