Hello all,
Wanted to let you all know I became a member today. I uploaded some of my photos into my portfolio. So if you have time I would appreciate a look and I cant wait until I can enter some challenges and learn from all of you. I have been following the sight for a while and finally decided to take the plunge.

Don't listen to them.... This entire site is a conspiracy... They draw you in with "pretty" pictures and "challenges" and before you know it, you're participating on other challenges, obsessed with "Lost", and discussing the pros and cons of Nikon vs. Canon. Sure, it seems all well intentioned, but ultimately you will pay a severe price. Your family will not recognize you without your camera, your bank account will suffer and the next thing you know you'll eat, breath, sleep, dream DPC... Run while you still can. The site council is always policing this site to get rid of naysayers... They themselves are fully brainwashed and well versed in the ways of DPC. When you try to warn others who are beginning to fall into their trap, they will hunt you down and interrupt any war....

which is funny to the 1 or 2 people that still find it amusing and not annoying as the 7 levels of hell. |

Welcome. You can learn a lot here.
You have similar photography interests to me. Based on the images you uploaded it looks like developing your image post processing skills is something you will want to concentrate on. There are many here that can help with that. It is an essential skill if you want your imagery to progress to the next level.
