I don't know if this is already discussed. I tried searching for the previous thread but didnot find one.
Can we improve on the website navigation? When I see the Challenge results or looking at someone's portfolio, I hate hitting "Back" button everytime. Can we have "Next" and "Previous" buttons for easy navigation?

Either you are kidding or I am not able to make the point clear enough. |

I'm actually NOT kidding and I think you're point is quite clear. You think that moving the mouse to the upper left corner of the screen is a pain. I just don't think that it's a valuable use of screen real estate.
Just My Opinion(TM) as a former web developer... |

Actually, I think you missed the point, too. It'd be nice, when browsing the entirety of someone's portfolio, to be able to go through the photos sequentially...next...next...next...instead of click..back...click the next one...back. Ya know? |

Yup. I got that. To be honest, I don't have that problem because I use Firefox with the "Linky" extension which allows me to open a list of links all at once all in seperate tabs... You see having suffered from Carpel Tunnel and Tendonitis, I've found that it's better to work smarter vs. harder. |

So when you browse the challenge results, for example, you'd just open each entry in a new tab? Surely I'm the one not understanding now. |

I don't tend to open many entries post challenge. If I do, it's only a select few which get a middle click to open in a new tab. I'll decide this from the Challenge Result page set to 'Show Full Results'.
If we talk about portfolio images I'll click and drag to highlight the images I want to view, right-click, Linky > Open Selected Images in Tabs. - to navigate and - to close. |

I am not a web developer so I don't know what's involve to make this happen. But as a lay man, I know it will be easy to navigate. To make it even better, how about allowing to view pictures as a slide show?

This is something I've always wanted - especially for challenge results.
Maybe if we talk about it enough it'll come off The List and actually be implemented. :)

Not only the portfolio, but for the entire site, please?
Like when browsing through the challenge results, it would be nice if we could have an arrow to click to the next photo, arranged in ranking sequence? Thanks
an example, something like this:

Is there a way we can see this list...see what is to come...kind of like window shopping, just waiting for the day it is actually ours.

please create a new thread for that suggestion, LOL!
Seriously, you've got a point. If we could see the list, then we wont feel the need to re-suggest (is there such a word?) a suggestion that is already inside the list. |
