I think he means "Will the Canon people vote down Nikon caps and vice versa? Do the Pentax people have enough voting clout to overcome? Are the Olympus people doomed?"
jejeje⢠I've wondered about that myself...

in that case, you can either:
- have all brands in your photo
- show no brands at all
- last resort, submit a single brand and pray |

Sure it is! Each of us brings our own biases into the voting process, some more obviously than others. It all more or less evens out in the end.

Yes. If I don't like your photo, I will score it low and those who like it will score it high. Biased. :) |

I don't understand this "losing lens caps" business. I've been a photographer basically all my life, and I don't recall ever losing one, although I did misplace one for a whole week once...

who would know if the lens cap actually belongs to you? :)
if u think some pieces of rubber can pass off as a lens cap, then do it, but it's a gamble - those DNMC nazi's have sharp eyes! :p |

I kind of anticipate some home-made lens caps scoring very well, actually...

Impressive for a guy who presumably can't stuff them in his bra for safekeeping like others have mentioned in previous threads. :)
I've not lost any either. |

Bear in mind I have a pelt. I've found a velcro tab allows me to attach a cap anywhere on my body very nicely, thank you. Being a bear has some advantages...

No way I'm going "lone" with 6 kids, sorry. I did have 2, but they never lost one of my lens caps. On the other hand, they knew death awaited them if they messed with my gear...

good options :) , especially the third one (lol)
There is actually one other, that is to use the rear lens cap ...
And for the cheaper lenses it does not have the brand logo ;-) |

and if you're out shooting on a hot and humid day,
the best way to keep your lens cap with you is just stick it on your skin, lol! |

When I was 12 I built a fort up in the attic where I kept my dad's guns and liquor and several items from his safe. Sadly, no lens caps. :) |

Or just do like fotomann and hold it in your hand all the time - even while you pose...

The voters are never biased.
I once lost a lens cap.
My entry doesn't actually have a lens cap in it. But it is a very thoughtful and artistic creation. Do you think it's fair for the voters to vote it lower than the shots from the measurebators who put a lens cap in their shots? I'm afraid of the voters, they are all nazis.
The voters are always biased.
