If Saturday works for others that would be good. I wasn't sure you guys were going to be here on Saturday. What time do you think would be good for you guys to give you enough time to get here and get settled? :)

How does Saturday June 3rd here in Atlanta work for everyone else??

ill have to talk to elvis about it, but anytime after 1:00 should be good(we can get to the hotel and stuff after the gtg i think). it takes us about 4 and a half hours to get there and i dont think we'll be leaving here any later than 8:00 a.m.(dd needs insulin at 7:30 and its easier to do it before we get going).

I get out of class around 4:00 on Saturdays, so I can join y'all after that. Any date is fine for me.

Alright people, June 3rd is next weekend. Is this possible??

Chime in so we can get this planned. If it's too soon, let's start working on a Savannah thing in July?

Possible things to do here (that will keep little ones entertained) :-)

Aquarium and/or Centennial Park
Botanical gardens and/or Piedmont Park
the Zoo

Any other ideas?

Good Dates are June 3rd, 17th, 24th and July 1st, and 15th. Those are all saturdays.

I've already got something set up for June 3rd and 4th. How about July 1st in Atlanta? Everybody should be back from vacation by then. U know, this is harder then I thought. I've never seen so many different dates when people would be available.

Geesh, what's with you people with lives and stuff? :-)

Elvis & Crystal, do you think kids will be up to hoofing around after that long drive? If so, than why don't we go ahead and plan something for Saturday afternoon/evening since you guys will be in town.

And then for the folks who can't make it (Rex & CT) maybe we can still plan for another GTG either here or down Savannah way in July or August?

I'm just throwing out ideas here people. I don't want anyone to be left out but this is getting complicated. :)

Rex, I'm still up for trying to get a good Fall GTG going too. :)

That sounds good to me. Let's plan something in July for savannah and have a Fall GTG in North GA or somewhere in Tenn.

Yeah, let's go up Kevin's way in the fall! He's always coming down here. Chattanooga is fun, especially if kids come along. :)

You guys plan the date for next weekend and I will work I guess.

I will try and make a July Savannah GTG but remember that July 15 is out because of the Tamron Workshop.

Can you view my work schedule now Jenn?

I will try to plan a GTG sometime in September or October for Tenn. We will get with Kevin and let him plan that baby.

If anyone want to meetup sometime in the next few weeks on a weekday at Barnsley Gardens I am planning on going just to get a feel for this 30D

I think the kids would be even more apt to want to walk alot after the long car ride because theyll want to move around after being caged up, but for the sake of all I think maybe its just too soon and its seems hard for everyone to clear there scheduales with such short notice. july would probably work best for all concerned. i dont want Elvis and I to influence the whole thing and/or cause people to not be able to make it because of the short notice. if it ends up in savannah in july well be able to make it then too. hope that helps rather than confusing you further.

If you miss me you aren't missing much (ask Jennifer)so I wouldn't worry about it.

Anyone up for doing both? June 3rd and July in Savannah?

CT since you started this thread, why don't work on the Savannah thing? If this thing goes through for me in July and I go to Germany I may or may not have the funds to get to Savannah. So it'll probably be a last minute thing for me.

If anyone's still up for Saturday, June 3rd, lets get a show of hands.

I'm up for the 3rd. We cancelled the Wyoming trip to decide if we're buying a house or not or moving to Montana or not or heading to Charleston or not. Too many decisions right now, but I am up for the 3rd.

You mean we're allowed to leave this place??! What am I still doing here? What's in Monatana anyways, but beautiful mountains and landscapes and fresh air and no Atlanta traffic... Hmmm, why would anyone want to move there? .... can I come too. :-)
