Hey guys! Thanks so much for all the heartwarming comments you had left on this thread and my family photo ;) I have also received numerous emails from folks touched by my story. I am happy that I could share this day with all of you. I'm even more than happy to share my life experiences with my friends as well ;)
I have truly been blessed with a wonderful and happy and healthy family, a truly understanding girlfriend who tolerates my obsessive compulsive hobby , and numerous friends who always remind me what to enjoy in life.
The afterlife has great and special meanings for me and one of which I am happy to share with all of you as well. Live life to the fullest and cherish all those who mean the world to you ;)

Wow! What a great story! Many years ago, my Mom almost succeeded taking her life and we were just talking about it yesterday (Mother's Day). I never looked at it that way, but she has had many ''birthdays'' since. Thank God!

Oh, so it was today (er, yesterday)? I remembered reading about it in the original thread, then couldn't find the thread again. I was going to start a "Happy birthday, Rikki" thread - but on the 21st, which was the date I remembered and got wrong). Well, that would have been too late, eh.
