These have no editing other than crop and sharpened (and of course resized and saved for web). Do they look OK as is?

hope you don't mind but I really liked the image and wanted to paly with it... I knew immediately it would benefit from this idea (scroll down in comments for Heida's post processing)


so I checked it out myself along with some other steps I've posted too...

Very cool! This really does make it stand out. I loved the composition but it looked so flat to me. Thanks, it makes a world of difference!
