Anybody else bummed that both member challenges involve portraitures? Grrr. I don't have the equipment or the models for these shots. I even asked myself to pose for self portrait but he refused!

I did both portraits without any fancy equipment. Just natural lighting, and stacked boxes in place of a tripod.
Of course, it remains to be seen how well they do...

Yeah, the models are the big thing for me. Nobody I know who is even half photogenic wants their picture posted online and unfortunately I don't have any kids to exploit. :P

I tend to shun away from self-potraits mainly because I'm afraid of being recognized, lol.

Oh, just throw an arms-length portrait in SP. I think it's going to be more for fun anyway, since I think a lot of us are just going to be poking good-natured fun at ourselves as the challenge goes on. I think this is a rare challenge where it's not going to be so ridiculously terribly important how good the photo is so much as as how our personalities shines through.

I do hope that no one takes anything too personally in this one, though. For this challenge especially, it sucks that someone has to come in last.

I'm in all three this week. But I like portraits. I take my camera everywhere and just happend on somebody- right place right time for the environmental one. Well... you know all about me and self portraits.

Chin up, yanko, maybe the next one will be something you like. ;~D
