Oh crap :( So I've been messing around with various color profiles (sRGB, and Adobe RGB mainly) in both Adobe CS2 and in Capture One. Before I was using sRGB for everything, and then I switched to Adobe RGB since it has a larger gamut and I was going to be printing a bunch of photos. ALl was fine until I just went to upload a pic. It seems that what I see on my computer is VASTLY different from what shows up when I upload a pic. I'd like to keep using Adobe RGB, so any ideas on what I might do to fix this would be REALLY appreciated.
Check out these three I just uploaded. The first one had a saturation boost, and the second two were just different profiles.

I had thought this kindof problem had been discussed in the past but I couldn't find anything with a forum search.
Edit to add: I had changed my adobe color settings to Phase One Workflow since I was using Capture One, which uses Adobe RGB among other things. In Capture One I have it set to use Adobe RGB as well.
Thanks!
Ben

Ok so I figured out at least how to fix everything basically just by switching everything back to sRGB. Thats probably what I'll end up using for now until I can figure out how to work Adobe RGB.
I'm still curious to know for anybody out there working with Adobe RGB, how you convert your files when you're uploading for the web. Do you just switch the color profile? It seems like that would get really tedious. |

| I edit my pictures in Adobe 1998 color space and also in 16 bit. When I am ready to upload, I will convert to sRGB and 8 bit. Then I use save for web to get the correct file size. |

| A lot of the time, my pictures will still be slightly different when not looking at them in Photoshop. I'm not sure why, but I've learned to compensate for it. Color management is some pretty tricky stuff. |

| I couldn't figure out how to link you up to another thread but I had this same issue and it was discussed in a thread called 'PS CS2 image appears different after upload to dpc'. Has all the info you'll be looking for and it fixed my problem |
