Where do you get the fake tux shirts and black drapes for senior portraits?
I can probably make the drape easily enough, but what about the tux? My brother says the shirt part is actually plastic, and the jacket has adjustable ties in the back? |

I have never even heard about the tux thing before, weird. The background (drapes?) would be a muslin, go to Calumet, BHphotovideo, or Adorama.

Do you have Hobby Lobby in your area? If so, they have tux shirts for around $15. |

No, we don't, but I can buy a whole tux for a lot less than what they're advertising here. I only paid $12 for my son's tux shirt. Someone offered to give me a couple of tux shirts, and I can buy a bow tie for $6.00. I might run to Goodwill or something and look at black jackets. But, again, I'm pretty sure I could buy a tux jacket for wayyy less than these people are advertising.
One of my co-workers sews, so I'll get her to make the drape that the girls wear. |
