HI. Based on the many good things I've heard about Mpix from people here I went ahead and made an account. I was going through the ordering process and towards the end there is a box where they ask you if you want the photo color corrected or not. My question is, should I check the box saying that I don't want them to color correct it, or is it better to leave it unchecked so that they will color correct it? I would appreciate it greatly if anybody can help me out with this.

you do not want them to color correct it. especially if you already edited your photos.

I've used MPIX several times in the past month or so and have been very pleased with the quality and speed of service. I've ordered everything from Postcards to 8x10's and even a 20x20 print. All have turned out excellently.

As far as color correcting, I choose not to. Solely based on the fact that I process my photos to my exact liking and their color correction may change the work I've done in PS. But I would guess if you do minimal PS or for people that don't do any PS to their photos Color correction would be something worth doing.

I don't think they have have an icc to proof the colors like SmugMug and EZPrints do, at least I haven't been able to find it on their website. But they have been very close to how I've processed them so I haven't been too worried about it.
