I have to print this photo on the front of the program for my daughters baptism today. My post processing skills are in their infany, though. Any thoughts on the crop, lighting and color adjustment, sharpness etc?

Thanks!

really like the crop, and the expressions are priceless! The focus & DoF are great, nice separation of the background. It does seem very bright. I pulled it into photoshop, and that confirmed what I suspected. Some rather large areas of the skin have lost detail because they are "blown out". I brought in the balck point and brought the midpoint of the curve way down, and it looks much better, but if the highlights on the original are not blown out, you should reprocess and make sure you don't lose them.
You may have lost 'em in grayscale conversion, BTW.

Left a comment and using your posted image, applied my comment suggestions...after processing that I did it appears it could use some noise reduction as well...but that may be due to applying stuff to an already compressed image.

I think this image is really beautiful. The only thought I had was that since it's an image of two young girls meant to represent a special day, I thought perhaps the sharpening was just a bit less than pleasing for this kind of image. Just an opinion. Gave it a quick try and softened things a bit... :)

Thanks for the help. It was looking 'off' to me, but I wasn't sure what to do to fix it. I did the curves adjustment (which I'm still not sure I totally understand), and it looked much better.
