I thought I remember reading that if you request your own image to be DQ'ed then it doesn't show up in your list of challenge entries, but I just found one on someone's profile page.

I think it depends on the "reason" for the self-DQ. I could be wrong.

Yeah, it depends upon the circumstances. A self-DQ is normally hidden as if you had never entered, but if there are other circumstances (no original provided, illegal editing steps, another DQ within 25 entries), then it's just treated as a normal DQ. |

And sometimes it happens that we overlook it (since we have to manually hide it) and have to go back later to 'fix' the problem. Could you email me a link to the user's profile so I can check into weather it was meant to be hidden or not? |

It was in fact simply overlooked. The image has been hidden and will no longer show in the users profile. Thanks for brining this to our attention.
