Although I am a NAPP member, I haven't had a chance to check this out yet. Just ran across it on another site, and thought it may be of interest here.

Scott Kelby's Web-based Photoshop training course

Edited to say: this course is aimed at digital photographers.

Very cool, thanks for the link. I picked up his book at B&N, it's a nice source of information for sure. I would recommend it highly.

In my limited experience, any time I want to know how to do something I plug "__________ photoshop tutorial" into Google and get a bunch of hits. Most of them are freebies, but the combination of basic instruction and experimentation goes pretty far.

You have a DSLR whihc probably cost you between $500 and $1000

And you don't have $69.

Well there is a $25 option. Joey is going to be selling cd's soon I would imagine.

Um. The poor kid is 20. If it wasn't a gift from parents or what have you, then he probably spent every dime he had to get it. You never know someone else's circumstances.

He is full grown.

As are you. So grow up. Making snide remarks implying that someone is a tightwad or lying or what have you is plain childish, not to mention completely heartless.

You don't think that was rude? How is it your place to comment on anyone else's finances? At least that's the impression I get from the question mark, a sort of "huh?" statement as far as I can tell? Eh, whatever. I've made my point, whether or not you get it is out of my hands.

Just to come back and clear up;
To rex: while i appreciate i have an expensive camera i did pretty much scrimp and save for months to get the sucker. And if i had any spare cash right now, which i don't, i would love to get a zoom lens, but me and my girlfriend have just had an offer accepted on a house, so ALL my money is headed in that direction.

Thanks for sticking up for me Karambreeze, im honoured. :D

And thanks for the pm dahved. Much appreciated mate. :)
