It is neither good nor bad. It just is. It is in your stats because when you accumulate enough thread kills, you win a free membership.

...I could be wrong though.

Sorry bgslaw - I'm just being goofy. The stat was a requested feature. "Killing a thread" can mean one of two things usually - either your answer/post was complete and final enough to finish the thread without further discussion (Good), OR you or your post are so unpopular that it left people speechless or uninterested (Bad).

I have 292 kills, so obviously many of my posts are always informative, complete, and final (all good). :)
