I have read some previous threads about photogs disappointment with Image Vortex as a stock site. I wanted to let everyone know that I made my first sale with them this week. Pic was priced at $50 and after their "commission" I made $35. Better than the microstock sites for one sale, although I am still not ready to leave them yet!!
I have been corresponding with someone at the company about lack of sales, random approvals, lack of anything on the website to determine what sells etc.... They advised they are still working on different things to make sales better for photogs. Including their approval process. Just thought I would share the info!

Good to hear, congrats! I haven't sold anything yet (haven't tried yet) except to friends of friends. I don't think that microstock sites would appeal to me, but $35.00 profit (no print fees or shipping right?) sounds pretty decent.
