I ordered the Copperhill DSLR cleaning kit and got the package today.

It came with the pecpad, the spatula etc.

It also came with the sensor sweep II brush. They say it's a charge-brush for brushing the sensor. ???

I am confused, what does it do? Do you really brush the sensor with this? Won't it scratch the surface?

Yes that is what its for. When they say charge it they mean with a static charge. The static attracts the dust to the brush. The swabs are for getting the stuck on stuff.

No it should not scratch the surface.

I ordered this kit as well. The sensor sweep II brush is actually used to brush across the sensor. However, please read the instructions! Since it is directly contacting the sensor, you need to be very careful...same as using the swab(spatula).
The brush needs to be statically charged before you use it. This can be done by blowing air across the bristles or sweeping the brush across the special paper that came with the kit...Please refer to the instructional website for this kit. //www.copperhillimages.com/index.php?pr=tutorials There should also be an instruction sheet that came with your brush.
To get to the point:
The brush is not really intended to be used as a brush...the static is suppose to do most of the work, while the brush itself is very lightly touching the sensor surface. I recommend you practice first as suggested in the instruction sheet.

If you need more help, please PM me.
