Okay...here is a toughie for you all. A lot of us love doing slideshows to show our work. But....how do you get around the copyright of the music especially when you are charging a fee for wedding couples or the like, or just uploading a show of your work online...?
Where do you get your music from without being busted?
Please someone enlighten me.

with my website, i actually have permission from the artist's managment... everything else i use i had to go through the correct copyright laws, contacting sonybgm and getting forms sent to me ( one per artist ) to fill out and fax back, it's a long drawn out process and can take weeks, no wonder people don't seek permission...!!
good luck with it..!

I don\'t know if you\'ll find anything suitable, but have a look at Creative Commons. The licenses vary, but most stuff is free for non-commercial use.

I only use royalty free music. I buy it, there are a few sites where you can buy it and also check out ebay. I have purchased two disks from two sellers on there.
