I'm satisfied with the score from my photojournalism entry. I did want to share just a bit more, since I was proud of the shot.

I have been trying all season long to get a few decent volleyball shots of my daughter. The courts where she has played have all been very dark for photography (no flash allowed) and I don't own a "fast" lens.

Finally, at the last tournament, we were someplace new. I hadn't even brought my camera in - just had it in the car in case we medaled and I would take a group photo with flash.

I noticed that the new place had much better lighting, so I decided to give it a go. I came up with probably 10-12 really nice shots, but this one was my favorite because of the framing.

This was shot at 3200 ISO but I never could "freeze" the volleyball. I can't wait till next season when I'm sure I will have purchased a faster lens that will help with this shooting environment.

Very nice photo Judy.

IMO, the blur on the ball is ok--your daughter is sharp and the blur shows that the ball was moving fast.

Looks like you got the WB exactly correct. Congrats, that's often hard to do with indoor sports.
