I completed my first year on DPC over the weekend (5/6). I joined DPC within weeks of buying my first digital camera and I believe this was a year of accelerated learning for me. I competed in 40 challenges in this year and was able to secure average score of around 5.7. The biggest area of my learning has been in post-processing (I finally know what dodge, burn and clone means :))

Thanks to all for accepting me as part of most active photography community on net and helping me whenever I had silly questions to ask :) I know there is more I need to know and do (and creatively think of more silly questions) ... and I'm looking forward another year of learning from fellow DPCers.

Hi tejinder, I am also from India. I saw your Photographs. They are great.You are great photographer. Your entry in windows contest was very nice. Hope to see you finish even at better position in challenges in future

Thanks, JP! We both have exactly 585 comments (received) in our profile at this very moment. The only difference is that you got those in 10 challenges and I got them in 40 :)

Congrats on your 1-year anniversary Tejinder! You've come a long ways, and I'm sure you'll continue to progress. You've got a very good eye.
