this is my window framed entry and it did ok for me but not as good as I had hoped. could you tell that it was a burned down house? the things in the window are what's left of the house. the trees are actually behind the house since it has no more roof. I know that the right hand bricks are cropped but this was the best shot i had. I left the other ones in to show how the fire destroyed an entire house, scorced the tope bricks badly but left the ones on the left and right of the window almost untouched. was this just a bad subject or was it a bad picture. good or bad feedback is welcome. |

I couldn't tell that it was burned down. I found the different sections of the window to be rather busy and a tad confusing. Actually, to me, it looked like you had somehow managed to get a different sceen into each quarter of the window. I didn't vote in this one, but I would have voted this higher than a 6 to be sure, because it is interesting and non-standard.
Knowing what it is now, I can see it. I don't think it was either a bad subject or really a bad photo - more likely one that the voters just didn't understand or like, for whatever reason.
My $.02

I thought it was an old abandoned building. |
