I sold my rebel and have a tethered remote shutter release I don't need - $10 shipped to most anywhere i guess.
It's an Adidt M1 remote - works fine, about a 3' cable on it. does the 1/2 press or full press and locks for bulb mode.

same one they sell on ebay all the time - like this
