How come when I delete something it doesn't show in My Recycle Bin. I really need to get some stuff back and there is nothing there. I have never emptied it.

right clicked the file then clicked delete.
and it never goes to my recycle bin.

Right click your recycle bin and select Properties. On the Global tab, make sure that you uncheck the box next to "Do not move files to the recycle bin"

do you have multiple drives? If so, is the option to "configure drives independently" selected? Is the box unchecked for each drive?
Or do you have McAfee Shredder installed?:

Where did you delete the files from?
When deleting from a hard disk, they should go to the recycle bin if you've got the options set up correctly (as mentioned above). If you are deleting from removable media (flash drive, memory card, floppy disk) or a network drive the file will always be deleted straight away, not sent to the recycle bin.
