Night - DPChallenge Forums

What about a challenge about night? I don't know if it has been done recently.
Night pictures, long expos, so probably the occasion to do some nice visual effects.
Of course the main subject will be "the night" so it will also be a challenge to find a proper composition to represent what the night means to you.
I'm all new to DPC so please pardon my rashness.

I like it.

I assume you don't mean just to take a photo at night--the challenge is to take a photo that expresses something about nighttime.

That's the point. In fact, both will be true : take a photo at night about nightime. So taht would be a technical as well as an artistic challenge.

Now, should I be more precise about the challenge suggestion, rules, etc?
If you want to give your advice on what a "nightime" challenge would be, please feel free to comment and add your ideas. As I'm all new to DPC (and I don't have the experience of competing in the previous challenges), some help would be welcome to brighten up this idea.
