| I just bought a DSLR, after reviewing some of the pictues I took I noticed that a single red pixel is burned onto each picture. Its an easy fix in Photoshop, but obviously it's not suppose to do that. I could still exchange it, but it was bought online so it would be more of a hassle. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Did it get worse? |

Does the rebel allow Pixel mapping? I'd suggest that if its on the sensor that I'd return it now rather then deal with it in photoshop. You cant enter a single Open challenge that doesnt allow advanced editing. And besides if you have one out with a brand new camera, how many will be out when there is 5000 actuations on the shutter?

Contact the on line supplier - I would definately send it back if it is anything less than perfect - you may have this camera for some time and it would really bug me.
You could also try returning it under warranty via your local camera shop - worth asking anyway as amy authorised canon dealer should take it on as a warranty claim - worth a try ?
Ant chance of posting a cropped sample ?
