I have only been here a short time and I am still trying to figure out my "style and technique". It seems that in my few submissions, the shots that do the best for me are those deemed "outside the box". I know some others who seem to enjoy and do well with these type photos (graphicfunk being the one that comes to mind). What challenge entries have you submitted that were out of the box and how did they do relative to the standard shots?

wasn't a "person" but was well recieved anyways

This one still gets me at times, it did ok, but the number of "undeserved" one and twos votes killed me. Oh well.

This one is still fresh and a bit of a sore spot for me.
