Congratulations, well done, this picture does deserve to be up there.
Regarding the DPC prints. I can understand that you are disappointed, but look at it this way. Many of us have picked a photograph you have taken and have it as a fave, Kodak loves you too. All the thousands of people that will be on the spot when your picture comes up will look at it, notice it, see the quality of it, sighing, wowing, admiring both it ... and you, the excellent photographer that pushed the button. And they will all go like this:
And maybe DPC will see that they made a decision that wasn't so hot and change their minds.

Sherryl-Congratulations.
It's usually no problem for me to snap the shot but you'll have to remind me a few times just before and on that day, both here in the forum and by e-mail.

A shame that it's on the 3rd. On the 2nd would have been better. Any NY DPC-er could have been there, taken a shot and entered it in Clichés and Sayings ... A Kodak Moment ...
