I am not quite pleased with this photo. Something is lacking. I have two versions posted here, one is just a cropped version of the other. Which one has more appeal and what could be done to improve either one?

TI like the first on better than the second but in both there's nothing to really focus your eye on. Maybe you need a hot pink flower in a vase on the window ledge?

I agree with Debi, its just kinda same color old everything. Nothing really catchs you eye or draws you into the image. Needs a contrast or something to liven it up.

I hope you don't mind (if you do I will delete it immediately), but I inverted the bricks. I think it helps some.

No, I don't mind. That's an interesting idea, I may play around with that a bit.
