My mother is re-opening Raccoon Ridge Bird Observatory in NJ, a banding and research center as well as a center to rehabilitate injured and orphaned birds and wildlife.

This will give me a chance to get some great bird close-ups and with any luck, rehabilitate a litter of orphaned baby raccoons again. If any of you are in the Northern NJ area, we'll be offering educational programs, and if you would like to be present during the banding to get some great photo opportunities, DPC'ers are welcome.
