hi, i took myself some time and shooted some flowers close to my wineyard property, here are few of the best examples, thanks for looking at them
... the play with DOF and POV are awesome

My Fav - the one with the yellow daisy between the purple flowers. Have you ever seen pictures of Namakwa Land South Africa in rainy season? It is a desert/Semi-desert region for 11months of the year. Then around September after their first of not many rain out comes the flowers.
I am talking fields and fields of colour, purple flowing into white flowing into yellow etc - as far as the eye can see. Have you ever seen wind on a grass field - that ripple effect you get - this effect is also present here. I am talking millions upon millions of flowers - wild flowers. Absolutely stunning. Will try and find a website with photos.

Nice shots. I left comments on a few, and did edited versions in PS - it would be easier to process from RAW, so I'm not thrilled with them:
 
I mostly used a velvia action at 70%, on a layer with Color blend mode and slightly lowered opacity, then adjusted the levels for each color channel, and did curves to take care of the overall lightness. Also used hue/sat to correct some color problems from the action. |
