		| | Does anyone know what this flower is?

It grows all over in the mountains between Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming (other places too, but this is where I saw it yesterday). It's about the size and looks of a crocus, purple with yellow interior, seems to grow in bunches of 2-5 flowers, low to the ground, quite dry soil.

It has very, very hairy stem and leaves:

 Thanks!

		| | Looks very much like a Crocus to me. But then again I am no expert.

		| | I'm no expert either, and I thought it was a crocus when I first saw it, but I don't think it is, it seems different somehow. |

		| | Nope - not crocus. Those are pasque flowers (genus Pulsatilla):
