I was messing around with some of my lens to justify the need for a new macro lens and shot these from the second story deck outside my office.
It had been raining off and on and was overcast skies.
As for the lens justification...ordered a new lens yesterday! ;^) Just couldn't get close enough to do those waterdrops justice!!! Ordered the Sigma 50mm EX DG Macro. Should be here mid-week next week. Hooray!

curious why you went for the 50mm over the 105mm.

simple enough reason i guess. i already had a 50mm prime and wanted the greater working distance of the 105mm. have fun.
i am excited about some upcoming upgrades as well ;}
