Bear, I think it is lovely how you are always so willing to share your knowledge :)Really.
I also have no dental plan, now, if any one knows a dentist who will trade Di Vinci veneers for pastry lessons.......

His wife is a cooking junkie. It might not be impossible. Distance is a problem though...

Why do they recommend Canon, just out of curiosity?

They actually had 3 recommended setups, with no prejudice from one to the other: Nikon, Canon, and Pentx *lst. My dentist and I agreed that Canon makes the most sense simply because I use it and it simplifies the teaching process.
And ragamuffingirl, he hasn't gotten anything yet, he's thinking about it. He's too busy to shoot right now, so he's holding off. I expect maybe he'll do something in July... I'm working on that 30D :-)

"9 out of 10 doctors recommend it"
