| Anyone know of any seasonal sayings along the line of April showers bring May flowers? Or perhaps the correct term for such a saying so I can more effectively google it? |

Not sure what term you could google to find a list, but here are some I've heard:
"March - in like a lamb, out like a lion (or in like a lion, out like a lamb)"
"March in January, January in March" (meaning if you have March-like weather in January, you will have January-like weather in March)
"May snow is good for sore eyes" (this may just be a Newfoundland saying)

I've heard of the first but not the other two. I was thinking about the calendar I make my mother every year and last year wasn't as seasonal feeling as I liked so I thought some sayings related to the months might give me some inspirational ideas. The fist one you mentioned really works.
If you think of others please post them.

| See that's the problem I was having when I was googling. I guess I'm more looking for a quote or saying about a month rather than one that uses the month in it. There's got to be a name for that sort of saying. |
