Just bought the portable Jobo Giga one external hard drive for storing my pictures when I go to Italy next month. I have found that when I download bulk pictures from the Jobo to my computer using Adobe photoshop album 2.0 that it compresses the pictures and if I try to access them they give me a highly pixelated copy. My question is, Is there a program that I can download bulk pictures from my memory card to the Jobo and then to my computer without losing resolution? Any help is apprectiated. |

If it's USB based, then you should be able to click and drag in Windows Explorer. |

Yep, exactly. And, I'd add, you should use the drag & drop method. Using other software can sometimes result in modified EXIF, which will invalidate the files for use as originals.
I don't want to make it sound like *all* transfer/management software is bad, it's just that *some* is. Picasa is one that is notorious for buggering with EXIF.
For simple copying, the windows drag & drop method will be the fastest, easiest method.

Thank you for the help. I'll give it a try. |
