This little gray box with a # and little mountain just started showing up in the corner of all my images. I don't recall having ever seen it before. Anyone tell me what it is, and how to get rid of it?

That's A Slice... it's used for cutting up images for web sites. To turn it off go to the view menu , go to show... and uncheck slices.

Thanks a million fotomann! Don't know how I managed to turn it on, but it's gone now, and all is again well in my world :)

You're Welcome. BTW, If you click on the Slice Tool, it automatically turns on.

You're right, it's a landscape photo bomb, I've created to blow up when people give landscape photos a 10. I can't beat a landscape photo on this site, so I've decided to kill off the voters that like them... :-P

Uh, oh! Houston, we have a problem...
Landscapes are my favorites. I give all landscapes an automatic 10. I give 10s to an image if you can see the outside through a window, or even if a landscape is painted on an enclosed wall. LOL!!!
