I was reading the thread on the "Deep-Fried Twinkies" and "Fair Time" and it got me to thinking of how we love the fair!

We use to live in upstate NY an we use to go to the Jefferson County fair every year, it is one of the oldest in the country.

We only went to the fair for the rides and the FOOD.

Does anyone else have any photos of the great night lights, rides and etc from local fairs? I would love to see some posted.

Maybe we could do a longer running challenge on "Fair Time"?

I also noticed on the food network the other night that the new fad is "Deep Fried Oreos". This show was released last year I think, so I may be behind the times a bit?
