10 days ago i had a 300D and an old 1Mp Fuji 1400.
Today I have 2 30Ds, a 300D and a 20D.
I sold the 1400 to a coworker over the weekend - very unexpectedly.
One 30D is going out to the person I got the 20D from (and some cash).
The 300D is currently loaned out, but is for sale.
When the dust settles...I think I'll be left with a 30D and a 20D (4000 actuations).
In the midst of all this I sent out my Metz flash for updating to eTTL-2 so it'll work with the 20/30D bodies.
When it rains it pours.
I ordered a 30D, found a better deal, and tried to cancel the first one - ended up with 2. Both vendors wanted to charge me to take back a camera, so i got creative. The 20D cost me $725 in the end - so how could I not go that route?
Now I want to sell the Rebel for $450, but i could probably sell the 20D and make a profit...
the 1400 was my wife's camera and she OK'd selling it, but now i have to get a lens for 'her' 20D and teach her to use it LOL.
I think she'll get the sigma 18-50 2.8 I have and I'll get teh new Tamron 18-50 2.8 when it comes out late next month.
In some ways I feel bad - the 20D is just backup and a second body for weddings - it'll sit in a box 95% of the time.

I dont think your a dealer as much as you are an addict. Need to take the ten step approach to get the cure though.

Teased me about my moving from a 300D to a 30D. He has a 1D mk2n and has sent it to canon twice this year (hot pixels once and a cleaning). So he had a 10D and a 20D, and now wants a backup for when his 1D is away. He was going to get a used 20D, but instead had his CC limit raised and his new 30D should arrive tomorrow. He has my 300D now - 4 days without a camera was too long for him LOL
Another sign of addition - he shot 110,000 pics with his 10D in one year.
Perhaps he is like a drug dealer - he has gotten me addicited...

| How much do you want for the 20d? Send me a PM I'm in the market big time. I looked at my first 30d today and was pretty impressed. But if I could find a good deal on a 20d I'd go that route for sure. |

Shoot...everyone's closed for "passover"...that's utter bull. I need some extension tubes!
EDIT: the rest of the world has to work...why can't B&H or adorama or whatever be open...anyone know of a place that is reputable and open, and not named ritzcamera.com?
A week and a half off...how am I supposed to go on my late-night internet ordering spree?

Getting a 30D is still a distant dream. I wish I was a camera dealer!

beachcamera.com has good ratings although I've never used them myself. |
I have used beachcamera.com, and they are as good as their ratings say.
