How do you display your photographs in an art festival? I am participating in an art festival and I have an 8 foot table allotted to me to display my photographs, but I'm not sure how to display them. I was hoping some of you could give me some suggestions, please.

Thanks!

Are they framed, matted, or loose prints?

Most of the time I see framed prints for sale, the seller rigs up an easel-like arrangement, or something like the separators in office cubicles, and hands the prints on those. They seem to usually be either pegboard (for convenience and versatility) or covered with fairly nice cloth (better esthetics).

If they are matted but not framed, they are usually sealed in large plastic bags of some kind, and then either hung (as above) or in a box the customer can thumb through like albums in a music store.

I think no matter what I'd have some kind of regular photo album there with 8x10s or 5x7s or something, especially if there were prints people could order which you either don't have with you, or hopefully have sold out of!

I was thinking that I would have certain prints being displayed, then have separate "copies" for sale in a box like you mentioned. The prints for sale would either be loose or matted, but not framed. It would probably look better to have the displayed photographs in frames wouldn't it?
