This has probably been suggested before, but..
Challenge Name: Quest for the Brown
Challenge Details: Do your worst while staying within the Advanced Editing and Extra Rules.
Challenge Type: Member Challenge
Challenge Rules: Advanced Editing
Extra Rules: The photo must have at least one visible subject besides the background. Things such as a white cow lost in a snowstorm (i.e. a blank white image) will be grounds for disqualification.
It could conceivably be a 24hr or 48hr Speed Challenge too.
I'd anticipate the voting to be a 10 would be for a horrid image while a 1 would go to a perfect image.
Why do a challenge that centers around making mistakes? One way to learn is from making mistakes and if you are consciously trying to achieve a "bad" image, you may notice what techniques you're using and thus know to avoid them in the future. Plus its funny.

this also gives the few horrible photographers in the world a chance to ribbon... those with >2.0 average score ;)
they just shoot like they're used to and submit ;)

Cool idea - I like the idea of learning from mistakes. So I wonder if there's a way in which we can exhibit genuine mistakes rather than ones that people deliberately make for this challenge.
I have some classics that I thought were going to be great photos which scored 4.2! I would like to enter one of them and expain why I thought it would work and see if we could analyse why it didn't.
To that end then, do wee need an additional rule which says
..... "Any image taken in the last 10days will be disqualified ..."
or
..... "this entry must have previuosly been entered in a Challenge otherwise it will be DQ'd"
