I noticed a submitted picture is slightly different than it looks in CS2. (It looks better in CS, more vibrant). I use sRGB color profile. I save as JPG, not for web. Any ideas on how to capture that extra bit of color?

Don't have the answers unfortunately, but I too am curious about this. I've had a big problem with losing a large amount of contrast and color when I go to save for web. Any help here would be awesome.

The only time I see this effect is when I fail to convert my output image to the sRGB color space from my working color space of Adobe RGB (1998).

In this case the resultant image is "dull" on the web because Adobe RGB (1998) is a richer color space and colors get lost if not converted. When uploaded to the web the extra colors get removed during the sites conversion to sRGB for web display. But if is is already converted to sRGB before the upload all colors are preserved.

for challenges make sure you use view- proof colors & the proof color should be monitor.
