Unfortunately the rain and hail was pelting sideways and cluttered my big window to the ocean...wish I knew how to get rid of the rain spots. Oh well, still a really neat storm.

very nice... I suppose you're shooting through a window and that's not your camera that got wet... right?

what was your shutter speed? how'd u manage to shoot right at the moment.. I've never been able to do that before in a storm... last time there was one I only had a P&S camera and didnt even attempt it.

Not brave enough to stand outside in that mess. LOL. Camera set on Manual, zoomed out 18-55mm lens to infinity, set @ 30 second exposure,and aimed it across the ocean in the direction of the most streaks that I had been watching. Rain was blowing sideqays with 35 mph gusts so I wasn't lucky enough to get a clear shot.
