can someone tell me what is the maximum size i can print a photo at without losing any quality. I have a 6mp camera which takes pics at 2816 x 2112. I would like to know the maximum size without the use of other programs which would increase it.

You can get "very good" quality at 150 dpi, and excellent quality at 300 dpi, so your uncropped image would be either 18.7" x 14" or about 9.35" x 7" depending on which you use.
